Armel is a DOH/DHA Licensed Occupational Therapist with over 16 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Occupational Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College, Manila and obtained her licensed as an occupational therapist in her home country in 2008. Since then, she has worked in several hospitals in the Philippines in the adult physical dysfunction and pediatric setting. However, her experience of 12 years in UAE since 2012 is entirely in the pediatric setting mainly in special needs school, rehabilitation and early intervention centres, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment with children of determination including:

Strong areas of interest for Armel include working with children who have challenges with the following skills – gross and fine motor, coordination, visual perception and visual motor integration, pre-writing and handwriting, social interaction, activities of daily living and sensory processing difficulties.
Armel always has a passion and remains enthusiastic working with children and is eager to develop new skills that will help in the development of her clients.
